When an order is placed by your customer, it is automatically transferred to our warehouse management system, allowing our staff to immediately start picking and packing. When a shipment is executed, Shopify is updated with the number of delivered items per order line, along with tracking information.
The warehouse management system continuously retrieves information about the products from Shopify, and similarly, the inventory levels are sent to Shopify. This eliminates the manual and repetitive task of updating two registers.
The integration uses the Shopify REST Admin API. Most functions run every 15 minutes, while some functions require user actions.
